Extraction hose question

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie to the group. I'd really appreciate some advice on the following;

I just got into Festool kit a year ago, and my first purchase was a TS55REBQ. Brilliant machine. I run it using a Nilfisk Aero 26/21 vacuum with a standard 36mm pipe - I really like this because it has huge, cheap 25-litre reusable bags, massive airflow, HEPA filtration, an 1800W power outlet, it also sucks up water (I do plumbing as part of my kitchen fits, so that feature's saved me once or twice) - and it came in at less than a third of the cost of a CTL26. I just stuff the rigid end of the vacuum pipe into the swivelling connector on the TS, and all's good most of the time. Occasionally, the pipe falls out .........

I'm now just about to order an  OF2200 router with the accessory kit, and the hose connector looks way different on photos to the one on the TS55. My question is;

a) Is there a 'proper' Festool connector which will fit onto the end of my 36mm hose to connect up to the TS55 in a better way?
b) Does this connector also fit the OF2200 vacuum socket, and if not - what do I need?

If your hose connector is 36mm ID, it should fit over the dust collection output on both tools. If it does not, try searching here on the FOG for threads pertaining to your question.  I know there are a few.
