will the fein insert fit in a sys 1?

It's made for a SYS 2. I don't think a SYS 1 would be deep enough, so even if the insert fitted, the tool and accessories probably wouldn't.

Right,  A Sys - I is not tall enough.  I put the insert in a Sys- III which is tall enough to stack the Fein insert on top of another generic compartment insert to hold additional blades  and accessories.

Same here.  It all goes better in a Sys 3.

Just seen on the Slingers 1858 website (UK Dealer) that one of their customers has put their Multimaster in a SYS 1 box. Looks pretty cool...

I bought a Cordless Fein Multi-master this past weekend and straight away got to work putting it into a Systainer 2... i had some Kazien style Packing foam from a projector i installed recently and was able to modify it to suit.

Very happy with the results, also did some labels up to match.

Nice. Looks like there is even a small cut out for the plug.
