Having spoken with Fein UK today, they confirmed the systainers are available to buy in the UK now, just speak to my local dealer they said so I have just come of the phone with FFX and they are able to order these in direct from Fein.

I spoke to Luke and these are the details.

Sys 1=33901146000 £38
Sys 2=33901147000 £44

Great service from FFX as always.  I suggested it might be a good idea to list them on their website to buy and Luke has put forward that recommendation to his boss.

I'm going to order a Sys 2 this week.

Fein did say that only the systainers will be available to buy, not the inserts............

So where are we going to get the correct uk inserts from then? Seems a bit pointless of Fein UK to sell just the systainer and not the insert.

Agree totally , fein have been a real pain with these things. I've contacted them a couple of times over the past few years as soon as I spotted these systainers. Told they wouldn't be selling them and now they are but with no insert. Like you say what's the point in that. I'm sure in Europe you can order the insert.

Vantainer do and insert. Is that any good?
It's probably for the old 250 multimaster. I bought the tanos insert from toolfest and the new 350 didn't fit. I used a heat gun and remoulded it a bit and it now fits.

I would not mind a nice orange systainer for my multimaster. i still have the original old style metal box, though it has my second multimaster in it after I killed the first one.

I found the inserts here  http://www.lumatech.co.uk/product/330.aspx  but I am sure they are available on ebay Uk direct from Germany too. Considering this Direct from Germany method for other stuff too. You can save almost £1000 on a Mafell Erica 85 with all the bits.

Hello,

Not yet.  I'm sure your friend won't have any problem buying from FFX, just quote the Fein part numbers.  Obviously the systainer will come empty, no insert.

Bunnys Bolt's in Woking (UK) have a Fein insert priced at £6.30 plus vat

TANOS ACCESSORY 80500037 T-LOC insert for FEIN

Got mine from Warren but be careful if you have the 350 multimaster as the insert I got was for the older 250 model. I had to alter mine with a heat gun to fit the 350

Hi Mac Sparrow
How long did it take for your Fein systainer to arrive from FFX?
Thanks
Mark

It took about 2 weeks for mine to come as they weren't in stock with fein, I don't think ffx keep them in stock they only order them in as a special item.

I've been told this Systainer comes empty. @ Mac Sparrow: If I may ask, where did you get the insert from ? Vantainer ?

I plan to use the systainer for storing Fein accessories so no need for an insert.  This may be useful to somebody: the Tanos Fein MM insert is different from the Fein supplied insert.  The layout designs are totally different and the Tanos version is made of moulded plastic whereas the Fein insert is made of hard foam, the same foam that Tanos utilise for their insulated medical/cool box foam thingys.

I ordered on a Tuesday, arrived on the Friday 4 days later, which includes the time FFX take to get it from Fein.  FFX told me that if they are out of stock at Fein (I got the last sys2 in stock) it takes 2 to 3 weeks instead.

Can you guys show me the inside of your Fein sysyaine when you received it. I need to find out which foam I should get and the plastic liner too

I've got the standard box, but saw this online... hope it can help !
