Festool Admins!!! - SEARCH does not seem to be working!!!

Festool Admins - Search function stopped working a few days ago.  Keeps giving an HTTP500 error.  Can you look into that please and thanks!

It works for me. But on some words I get an empty page in return, but no 500 error.

You can always type something like this in your browser search or address field to search for FOG pages, in this example for "RAS 115":

festoolownersgroup.com: ras 115

Definitely an issue when I search for VAC SYS, but doesn't seem to be an issue otherwise.  Strange.

If you are doing two separate words like that without quotes, particularly those words that would show up in a huge number of posts, you are likely generating a gargantuan return set that is simply timing out before the database can return the results to the front end. Try using quotes, like: "VAC SYS"

I've found that using Google to search FOG yields better results than using the forum's built-in search. If you're using Chrome, you can search FOG directly from the URL bar in the browser.

Right click in the URL field, select "Manage Search Engines and Site Search" and add the following:

In the URL field of the dialog, add:
https://www.google.com/search?q=site:https://www.festoolownersgroup.com+%s

Now, when I need to search FOG, I type FOGS and the URL field changes to let me know I'm searching FOG after which I type my keywords:

You can setup search for pretty much any site this way.
