Festool Clamps compatible with T Track brands

That's great, thanks for checking. I was going to check compared to the regular Festool screw clamp, saved from having to do that. Downside is that now I have to buy one (or more, more is better, right?) of those expensive clamps.

I've become a big fan of the dovetail clamps, and have been incorporating them into my work-holding fixtures - just finished cutting a new miter fence extension with dovetail slots, but will be using the new Dovetail Hardware that Microjig just released.

Microjig Dovetail hardware

I just bought the dovetail router bit that Microjig sells; it cuts a radius on the outside corners and should make the slots less likely to get damaged.

how do you find the "slop" between the little dovetail pieces and the slot - and does the material you're cutting the slot in make a difference? I'm building a TS sled right now and i'm strongly considering using the matchfit system!

This thread is ancient and hugely useful.  Thank you everyone.

I've got plenty of options for my workbench ideas from what is already here but I see that Powertec tracks are widely available and seem to be widely used.  Do those work as well?

What is the ideal dimensions of the t slot in a t track that would allow both types of festool clamps to work with?

Anyone know of a similar router bit to the Axminister option that’s available in the US?

Just Google T-slot router bit. Amana, Whiteside, Infinity, Rockler, MLCS, CMT...there's a ton of them out there.

digging up the archive here...

looks like the Lee Valley (12K7932) fits both "ok"...but thats made by Veritas, which is listed as sloppy fit - can anyone confirm?

basically, just trying to find a t-track that works well with both clamps.

I've been using the Lee Valley for my Festool clamps for years. Works great.
Here are the item numbers for the track in different lengths...

12K7932 2' 5/16 T-Slot Track
12K7934 3' 5/16 T-Slot Track
12K7938 4' 5/16 T-Slot Track

Hey everyone not sure if this is widely known information yet but i discovered it today and wanted to share.  Woodpecker just released a router bit that will cut the track clamp t-slot and it looks awesome.  The only other bit i was aware of was the axminster one and those are very expensive to get shipped here.  The woodpecker one is solid carbide and it is a spiral bit.  I ordered one today super stoked to try it.  Again sorry if this was widely known information but i have been reading through this thread the last few weeks trying to decide on a t-track..... and this bit solved my problem.

I saw that bit in my email this morning.  My brain couldn't quite wrap my head around it, almost like a cylinder covered in 'dazzle' camouflage.  [blink]

First post on the forum here.

Today I discovered that POWERTEC 71351 t-track works with Festool quick clamps. A 2-pc of 48" track sells on Amazon for $26.99 with free shipping.  This appears to have a similar profile to Orange TT63 t-track, which costs a fortune to ship.  Link below:

And while we're reporting discoveries, I had one yesterday. All brands of track saw track clamps (Festool, Bessey, Ehoma, etc.) fit the two-groove side of Woodpeckers dual-purpose track, but not the single groove side  [huh] They also fit SuperTrack (the main track of our router table fence).

That's a great find--I'm now considering using this with my MFT table build.  It's also interesting that the Woodpeckers dual-purpose track is actually cheaper (48" x $29.99) than the Woodcraft equivalent (48" x $33.99).
