Festool Connect 2016 in Indiana?

Personally I am glad to see the event moving to Indianapolis.  As pointed out already the cost and opportunity cost of putting on the event there as well as the logistics and highlighting their efforts to provide training for users all work towards making it an even better event.

I agree with you Peter, the costs of doing this type of show on the road are huge. Just the transportation fees for the equipment to and from are killer. My hope is that some of the money saved by having the show in-house will be spent on show enhancements/additions.

It'd certainly be nice to have guided tours of the Festool manufacturing and QA areas as an enhancement. [thumbs up]

No matter where it is, there will be a large Festool population for whom it isn't close enough to be convenient.

I gave up trying to make everyone happy years ago.

Your not going to please every one. But... Maybe Festool could also so consider alternating to Henderson in the future.
With it being in Indy, I might consider going then I can visit with my son that 7 hours away in Lebanon, MO ;)

The arm pit of America.
Nope...that is Newark NJ...

You probably never lived at day in your life in Newark!
Nope...worked there for a bit. It was more a joke than anything. But yeah I wouldn't ever live there...or any other major metropolis.
Just remember that some of us have family who settled into places like Newark many many years ago and are PROUD to say it!
So if you never walked the walk don't throw any stones!
