So I see the availability of the CT 26 583492 but it looks like there is a newer model the CT 26 574930. What is the difference?

I am not located in the US, but I did a googlesearch on the partnumbers, and from the pics on the amazonlinks the older number is before the "facelift".
Main differences are:
The newer model has a sturdier hosegarage with T-loc compatibility
The newer model comes with the newer, more flexible hose with standard sleeving, so it's not ribbed on the outside.
The newer model has a redesigned hosewrap at the back, one side can swivel for faster hose-removal.

The newer hose is worth whatever price difference you have between the old and newer models. It's much easier to work with than the old ribbed hose.

Lot's of people have had problems with the older hose garage breaking, though it's not a problem I've experienced (knock on wood).

Awesome thanks so much. You had better luck than I did I could not figure out the difference for the life of me. The hose alone makes it absolutely worth it.
