I purchased the Festool cyclone and decided to put the bin to work with my dust deputy. This performs better than the Festool cyclone.

A nice, though a bit pricy, way to obtain a clear bin for the DD  [big grin]

Definitely didn’t buy it for that reason. It’s just the lid that is compromised and I can still use the bin with the Festool cyclone. Can also use it in its smaller format which I in tend to do. You can buy the clear bins separately also.

Yes, for only 52,95 € a pop [mad]

A bit steep, but I have spent almost as much money testing clear bins that didn't work for my cyclone setup in the shop. Even the "good" brand of bins will implode when I block the hose.

I originally had a working setup with a noname shop vac and a clear bin, but when that shop vac let the smoke out I got a CT SYS in its place and it is just that much better at creating vacuum.
