Festool demonstration videos

It would be very helpful for people (like me) just getting started making new Festool purchases to see demonstration videos of the products in use.  I'm not talking about the "test drive" videos, those are just for marketing.  I'd like to see full demonstrations of products with an expert running through all the features and accessories of each product.  Maybe they should shoot these at some trade shows where Festool is giving demonstrations.

  I think it is an excellent idea. I publish woodshopdemos.com in the storyboard format in an attempt to get "video demos" out there without having the bulk of video files. Things have changed drastically in the past five years. Video on line is possible. I am in production of "Cabinetmaking 101 with the Festool only shop". That will be a packed DVD and available for sale off of my website. I will announce it here.

  I am not quite sure. One was being packaged with router bit sets and free the other one was for sale by any dealer selling CMT. I know that my local Woodcraft had some but beyond that, I do not know. You wont find it on their website since it is in shambles. The CMT mktg mgr is lon longer there and the present crew is doing as best they can keep head above water. They have a high quality product and thank goodness for Woodcraft catalog and dealer sales.

John, your DVD will be a valuable tool.

You do such a great job with your online demos, I am sure this will be a great addition.

I will be watching for it.
