Festool Radio SYSROCK BR10

Most blokes on site have the Makita DAB. Mines been down the stairs, off scaffold and covered in paint, plaster and all the other site crud and sill works great. It's the only reason I still have Makita batteries hanging about [big grin]. No DAB means no cricket,six music or Four extra [eek]

No DAB would be slightly disappointing even though the stations i listen to here don't even emit on DAB, but still we don't have any specs so DAB could be hidden in the source button function.

Yet the Makita doesn't have bluetooth, you need to connect your phone physically to it to play music which is a major drawback and it won't cut out when you get a call.
I currently use a Bosch job site radio so when i get a call i need to run to another room, this summer a had a guy helping me out and he had a radio similar to the sysrock as it played his tunes from his phone and would cut out when he got a call. I thought that was pretty neat.

Funnily enough Makita have a blue tooth version of the site radio but it doesn't have DAB [big grin]

DAB=it's a winner.

I like the profile of the SYSROCK too.

I think the SYSLITE DUO is the perfect design for a modern ghetto blaster; 2 speakers in the front, DAB, 2 slots on the top for charging batteries, DAB, 110-230v input, bluetooth, AUX In, DAB and a plug-it connector, and DAB would be nice too :)

SYSROCK DUO?

Hope there's an A/C option, which I don't see in the photos.

The first photo on the linked site shows a "plug" symbol on the LED, and a cable sneaking out from the rear. I assume it's using the same AC and battery connections as the SYSLITE so it would make sense.

Don't forget the importance of DAB [member=26410]mac sparrow[/member]  [big grin]

Good catch, Garry. I missed the symbol. [doh]

No DAB  [crying]

Interesting, though not unexpected.  RRP...........?

2 x items that Festool can add to the list when making the SYSROCK DUO, take the spec of the SYSROCK and add 2 battery charging slots on the top and include DAB.

A USB port would be beneficial too...............I want to love the SYSROCK

Cool new product, but I agree..make a bigger one. Even like a SYs2 size. Integrated charger for batteries, compartment for phone-charge. And some large speakers, and rigid as h.. Have been thinking of posting this in the "Festool should make..":)
