I ordered a set from Festool Products. These bits will be a welcome addition to my Festool drill sets. Your collective comments pointed me in the right direction so thanks again. Cheers. Shawn

Hey Shawn - long time no speak! Bits are going out this morning! Thanks!

Most likely not the place to ask....but why not.... Robertson bits in the Festool Tool box... Robertson has 80% market share just miles from me....in Canada... All of my Electrical devices I install in the US are now Robertson...

Got to ask/wonder what guy with the last name Robertson... ticked off Festool that they won't include any thing that brings up a memory of the name Robertson....

Never mind... I'll just file down my own........

Cheers,
Steve

Just a follow up: the bits arrived today and they are superb. $35 shipping included from Festool Products. I highly recommended the product and the dealer. Shawn

I use Highpoint/Irwin/Dewalt/Ryobi/Milwaukee etc..etc..etc.. Square bits... any Home center or hardware  store has them...

You have missed the point of this thread.  The Robertson bits discussed here are made to fit the Festool Centrotec chucks, not the bit holders.

[scared]... Ops.... I guess I did miss th epoing of the thread... My humble apologies....  [not worthy]

I recently obtained the so called  Robertson Toolbox Pack from Clermont's Ultimate Tools (http://www.ultimatetools.ca/products/robertson-bits-for-centrotec-2) and I can verify that they are excellent quality.

Several different combinations of bits are available.  The Toolbox Pack has 2 each of #1 (green), #2 (red), and #3 (black)

I have two gripes, one big, one small.

The big gripe is that no package includes #0 (yellow)

The small gripe is that the bits are not painted in their traditional colours.  I did overcome this as can be seen in this photo:

FYI, Frank, these bits are made by ATLAS on Queen st. don't know how close you are and not to steal Dan's business, but might be convenient for you. Oh and ATLAS has different sizes available now as well (length)

Thanks, I will check and see if they have #0 size.  Dan does sell longer bits as well but I don't need them.
