Festool TS75 on U.S. television

Just happened to be watching Garage Mahal with Bill Goldberg on DIY network.  They showed about a minute's worth close up of one of the guys cutting a solid wood door in half with the TS75 on a guide rail.  Funny, but the guide rail was too short for the full run and the bottom face of the lower door half got damaged from an incomplete cut.  They did fix it, though.  The power of glue!

Kapex and ETS150 were on the show too.

They were building an English pub in a garage belonging to this couple, the guy originally from Yorkshire, England.

Maybe they can't afford to pay superstars on their budget.  [big grin]

They did give unusually long face time to the saw with the Festool name showing, which is extremely unusual for a non-sponsored product.  The shows here will almost always put tape over the names to block out the company.

Talking about festool being on TV.  I have seen the T+15 a few times on TV    I once saw it on a program similar to CSI  and they where unscrewing a box with the T+15      I also see festool more and more often on Home Make overs, DIY programs! Mainly TS55

I've seen Festool equipment many, many times on this show. You often see them using the kapex and having multiple systainers in the background. I believe that the show is American. Don't know if you guys get this show? It's normally so old by the time it gets here.

I've also seen on a number of shows on BBC some carpenters carrying the Festool guide rail.

Dont know if any one watches 60min make over.  Well I dont lol but my mother does.  Well you know how programs sometimes have a little vid every time so you know its the program  well  the TS55 comes up in it. !!

More Festools on Run My Renovation, DIY network right now, !including the Domino
Thought it was the Domino.  They showed it so quickly the first time.  Actually a PC biscuit joiner, but I did see the TS55 and Todd Coonrad's Douglas hammers which aren't that common.
