As the title states I'm looking for some advice on how best to apply a finish to a shuffleboard table?
I had someone contact me about refinishing an old one for them and want to have my ducks in a row before I start and begin to come up with a price. It's pretty old (1950's) and the potential client has started to remove the finish himself hand sanding. He is quickly realizing hand sanding is going to take him far too long.
My first though was to apply a clear bartop type epoxy to ensure it's a nice level surface. I have never worked with any epoxy before though so I am a bit hesitant. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
