Finish nailer advice

I'm thinking of getting a 16 gauge finish nailer to use with my compressor . Here in the UK we don't get too much choice. Most people use cordless ones ie dewalt or paslode so the 20 degree angled nails are easy to get hold of.

This one seems a good gun but is available stateside only by the looks of it

Otherwise I'd have to get a straight 16g  nailer which are available in the uk like the bostitch one.

I know the angled ones are better for getting in to tight spaces.
 
Yeah I've got 2 bostitch compressors and a bostitch 18g bradder which have been great.

I can easily get the bostitch 16g one but it's a straight nailer. Just thought angled would be better but maybe it won't make much difference in reality.

I'm gonna pick up a small senco pc1010 compressor too, fed up lugging big noisy ones round

Did you get/find a 16 gun that you're happy with? I'm six weeks into using my PC1010, Senco pro finish 18g and 23g and I really love them. Thinking about adding 16g to the party

Just found this as debating wether to get an 18g nd possibly a portable compressor
 
I pretty much only use the 18g (been beating a Senco for 10+ years now) and a 23g Grex, both with 2" capacity.
If I am going to depend on a "solid" nail, then I use a 15g angle nailer (Senco SFN40, also old.)
16g nailers still use brads, but make a big hole, so I prefer the 18g.  If I'm worried about strength, I stich the nails and/or add a bit of construction adhesive.
 
I agree with Joseph C.  If you want a tool that lasts forever, the Senco industrial grade guns are the bomb.  My SFN40 is 30
+ years old and I originally  used it to attach commercial aluminum storefront fascia, literally miles of the stuff.  This material was .100 and the gun punched right through.  I also have an ancient 18 ga pinner and stapler.  These tools are not light by any stretch of the imagination, but, like the TS75 will work on anything you ask them too.  The Grex 23 ga pinners and staplers are my other gotoos.

Check out the Rockler catalog.  They sell casket plans, books on making caskets., casket hardware, memorial tubes, casket bed frame, and also pet casket plans.  I showed my wife and told her I'd be happy to make her one, or we could have a his and hers set for the inevitable future event.  She failed to see the humor in that (and apparently the practicality, when you think about what commercially made caskets go for).

Picked up Bostich 18g today from screwfix with 3000 staples, 5000 nails for £80 , works ok but need to find out what the thumb wheel on the top adjusts, it's not the depth so presume it's a pressure adjustment

If you need the 16 gauge too screwfix is the cheapest for them too. Hard to find but if you Google bostitch fn1664k it comes up on clearance. It doesn't come up if you search on screwfix.

I've had the 18 g bostitch for years , great gun. Just bought a little senco pc1010 as well it's great, so quiet.

Not coming up for the 16g

Is your compressor 110 or 240v
