We have a client who is tops, and we tend to do projects for them that are different and unique. This is one of those projects.
They asked if we could redo the stone on their fireplace and the project grew from there.
Here's the stone that was on there

The fireplace as it sat before

Reframed and scratch coat

Stone work almost complete

Definately like the make over, so much nicer than the previous stone work. With Kreg on the mantel, you've obviously allowed for one. so what will it be...?

The stone should of been easy to remove with only one stick of dynamite !!!

Looks great.  How hard was it to remove the existing stone?
Really .....Easy. The house was built in late 70's and they ran wire lath over DRYWALL, The stone was held together by the lath, the drywall gave in to the moisture long ago.
