This is a little project I've been working on for our newly remodeled den. This is the first project I've completed starting from rough lumber, in this case some cherry I picked up back in 2012 that I've been tripping over in the shop ever since. The cabinet and door frames are made from the cherry and the door panels are sapele. I finished it with a coat of black walnut danish oil. I applied the finish to the doors last night and based on how long it took the oil to cure on the cabinet, it will probably be 4 or 5 days before I can rehang the doors. I had a lot of fun working on this and really enjoyed milling the cherry and sapele down to what I needed.

Wow!  Nice work!

Don't let me near it - the inside of those nice doors would get peppered with holes from errant darts.  [eek]

Funny you should mention that, I purposely built this taller than most dart cabinets to protect the wall underneath it and my daughter managed to plunk a dart right into the face of the bottom of the cabinet during our first round.  >:( ;D
