It's definitely interesting, and definitely looks like a wonder tool designed by someone who wanted to make a do-all tool. But it's like any start up company, are you going to put your money in a start up, and one that takes custom blades?
I get where they are coming from and trying to solve things. I have little doubt if this said festool, mafell, etc down the side folks would be all over it. As is, I think it will come across as some wonder tool found at harbor freight. Of course the way it stalked me on Amazon for some time hasn't done it favors with me.
I do like the remote actuated guard opener. I've never understood the design on normal circular saws, having to put your hand down by the blade to get the guard out of the way to get the cut started has never made sense.
