I am not sure if this is related but I just clicked on "Replies" at the top to see any activity on those threads on which I have posted - I ended up getting hundreds of results compared to the normal 4-6.

I just went through the "mark as read" procedure and discovered that the list of results was for every thread that I had ever been part of going back to when I joined.

This was discussed in another thread. As part of his troubleshooting, Shane reset the 'Unread Replies' information which caused this result.

I also missed reading it until after I had deleted something like 51 pages of 'unread' messages using  the 'mark messages as read' feature, just like you. A note probably should have been posted in this thread as well, since I think many of us who are active on the FOG were monitoring this thread before we looked at new messages, but I guess it's no giant deal. I just hope this annoyance was finally tracked down and is fixed now.

Note: Edited to perhaps make a little more sense than the first version I posted.

By the way Shane, fastest its been in months down here at the moment.

08:20 in UK just now.  Really, really snappy - photo's have very rarely enlarged (after clicking on them) so quickly. 
Impressive, as have become so used to FOG being generally slow anyways. 
Just need to see if stays this quick.  Thanks for all your work on this Shane.

Although some reason all the posts I looked at in my new replies  are full with posts I already looked at but no new replies.  No big deal just thought oh some one has replied but then find they hadn't still same posts lol.  At first I thought I was going crazy

I'm getting the same thing.  Instead of only new replies that include maybe only 3 to a dozen, I have pages of "New Replies"  Ditto on the hi-lited above.  [unsure]

Hi,

Is anyone else experiencing the following issues at present -

. several of my own posts appearing in Unread List before any additional replies to that thread. Eg Photo for Frank.
.  unauthorised log outs, after visiting other sites and significantly after following FOG links including Festool Websites.
.  and in the past three hours, two SMF  server drop outs.

Please note that I usually tick the stay logged in option and I have Safari on IPad set to private.

Yup!  Happened to me, but it isn't just FOG. The entire internet went haywire for about 30-minutes. Every site was slowwwww.

Probably too many people logging on for the SuperBowl scores and dragging it down!

Seems to have resolved now.
