Four pallets of blue boxes just cleared customs in Baltimore.  Yeah!

Peter

Peter,

I don't know what beauty parlor you frequent, but your last makeover definitely was a success! You look a lot better now!  [big grin]

On a more serious note:
I didn't get involved in the Fogtainer project, for budgettary reasons.
However, reading this post I actually regret that decision. To say that you go the extra mile is a huge understatement.
Besides being very handy storageboxes for tools and what not, these Fogtainers will carry an added value.
Your efforts to get them to the recipients in due time and with a decent print in the right colours seriously add to that percieved value.
Once the Fogtainers are delivered, hardly anyone will be willing to part with it for the purchasing price - that's one of the definitions of "added value" .
I think you're doing a great job - kudos to you!

Regards,

Job

Peter you have my FULL support and there should be no reason why anyone would hold the actions of the printing company against you personally.  Some things take more than one try to get them right.  I know that was not what you where expecting nor was I  [eek] but I am sure they will correct the printing issues in order to get the customer approval of the final product.  I am also sure that since you where able to get a printing company that has been in business that long that they will replace any defective or faulty product.  If there is anything we as FOG members can do to assist you please let us know as I am sure you will be flooded with help.  [thumbs up]

Hang in there I have faith that it will all work out in the end and after all like it was said in a previous reply that anthing good (in this case GREAT) is worth waiting for.

Troy B  [thanks]

This marathon has been full of education as Markus predicted.  Priceless?  Heck no!

Friday brings the email that "in order to prevent further storage charges you need to send us your credit card info to pay this bill.". What was is about my email on November 1 that said " my shipment will arrive in port in two days and I would like to make arrangements to wire funds" that was hard to understand?

Today.  Holy Crap Batman!  The boxes are here in town.  The living room has not been "redecorated" to allow for 4 pallets and the bribery gift hasn't arrived to soothe the wife.

Just last night we talked about having a couple of people over for Thanksgiving.  Hope that they like blue and know how to use a tape dispenser.  At least the pup hasn't learned to lift his leg.  [scared].

Need to stall the delivery for a couple of days.  Rain tomorrow and busy Wednesday and Thursday.

Then off to deal with the printer - wherever he lives - or will die.

Seriously - this is kinda fun.

Peter

Shh'..  She doesn't know about the four pallets of boxes and bubble wrap yet.

Anyone looking for a housemate?

Hi there:
Are all of the highly anticipated fogtainers spoken for?
or can a member ( me) still buy one?
Thanks
Marc

Marc,

There might be some available.  There are a few members who have not paid for their orders.  I originally said that I would not order boxes in this situation, but I did.  If the total math works out - the FOG will have some to offer as prizes or give aways.

I will be posting here if any are for sale.  they will be first come first serve.

Peter

Thanks for reply. Good luck with the pallets in the living room. you might be able to have fun with the bubble wrap ??
Sure sale here if there are any?
Thanks

I hope my wife doesn't find the bubble wrap before I can use it.  What is it about females and bubble wrap?  This is not meant to be disrespectful to our female members - it was a question.

There's probably a bubble wrap forum somewhere (BOG?) where the predominantly female members are asking, 'What is it about men and their tools?'

Peter, although I didn't order a fogtainer due to the high cost over here in the UK, if there are any left I'd also be honoured to buy one, as a sign of respect for all that you've done on this project. You are, as they say, 'da man'.

Rick

hi all .

if there are any left put my name down for 1 or more ;).
any idea how much it would cost  [scared]

Mac and Alan,

I have been contacted by a member who, based on posts like yours, might be willing to part with his order.  If he positively lets me know to the affirmative, I will post in the classifieds their availability.

If you go to the very beginning of this thread you will find the prices and the conditions.

Peter

If there aren't any picts - it didn't happen.

MacGyver likes them too!

Got to get back to work.

Enjoy!

Very cool....that is a lot of FOGtainers. They even have the green latches on them.

Great to see that our FOGtainers are getting field tested.  Looks like they have passed both the weight and water resistance testing with flying colors.  I guess they'll get their stamp of approval next...

And Peter, thanks for all your hard work on this project.   [big grin]

Wowow!  Does that take the record for the most Systainers in a single location that isn’t a warehouse/retailer?

And I thought the pic of the FestoolUSA HQ wall was imposing and impressive.  (which, I can’t wait to see next week!!)

You know, Peter… If you get creative you could probably create a “table” and seating in your dining room for Thanksgiving.  Would that help with the missus?
