Hi all, looking at a Frommia 635 table saw.  Used to have a slider but is missing.  I don't need the slider part.  Mostly I was wondering if anyone had information on the company or the saw?  It looks like a nice saw and the price is right for it.  Dust collection?  Arbor size?  Mostly cast iron or sheet metal?  Were these good saws?  Any help will be appreciated.

if it's any help Frommia was/is a manufacturer of mid-market static machinery aimed at small to medium sized joiners shops. your 635 is very old - 1960s or 70s - so there will be no manuals or spares or support for it. If you are mechanically and electrically adept and know what to look for in terms of acceptable wear and tear, damage, etc that shouldn't be a problem. If you need the user's handbook before you an look at a machine I'd suggest steering clear of all old machinery. It will only bring you pain
