In Cape May Nj today...near freezing and raining should be changing over to snow later in the day. Good thing I have a nice big room to work in and my dustless Festools!  [big grin][attachimg=#]

What is the long "L" pipe attached to the CT dust collector, and why?

Thanks, Dick

Dick,

I don't think that's an 'L' pipe, I think it's just the un-sleeved portion of the hose. Might be wrong though (again...).

Come one guys give me a break! [tongue] Until festool makes a finish nailer I'm stuck using the yellow and black one!

Yes that is just the uncovered part of the black planex hose.

Sometimes it is hard to remember than no tool company has the best of everything........

And this morning in my spot of the world it is -20 C, absolutely a heat wave from the -30 C (same as -30F) plus wind chill from last few days...

°F and °C don't meet till -40 and that's what I've been waking up to several mornings this week (with the wind chill) it's not much fun. Gotta love the great white north!

Don't see much Grex down under ... think I've got an airbrush or two of theirs ... wasn't really aware of the nailers ... so they're green - or is there another attraction  [wink] [big grin]

Sure there is another attraction.  They are good quality tools and work as described within the limitations of the fasteners.  I say that because too often I hear or read of people using a 23 gauge pin (thinner than the legs of an office staple) to do things that they aren't designed to do.

I love the green color too.

Peter
