Google AI fights back

I am not sure why, but many of my Google searches result in an all black screen.  I see the search results start, and then restart, and then restart, and finally a black screen.

And when I Google:  Can Google A.I. be switched off

I get zero replies.  Nothing. Nada.

And when I Google:  Can Google A.I. be disabled

I also get zero replies.  Nothing.  Nada. 

Is this caused because I frame my questions in the form of a sentence?

So the type of results I used to get with Google, I can’t get at all. 

And while I am at it, the A.I in my spell checker changes words.  So I have to go back and proof read the A.i changes. 

Is there another search I can use besides Google that does not use not-ready-for-prime-time A.I.?

Never used it so I dont know. For Chrome, unsure of Firefox.

Ive given up on google and now pay — yes, pay — for Kagi. The results are good and it includes an AI, but only if you want to use it. It’s like using google was about 10 years ago, but they’re not selling your personal data.

Price is too high, but hey ho.
