Got the MIDI1 wondering what I'm missing in the MIDI 2 - no specs

Can't seem to find any specs for the MIDI-2 to compare toe the MIDI-1

Thanks in advance.

MIDI-2 has integrated Bluetooth connectivity and a touch pad to change the variable suction.  MIDI 1 has knobs to control these functions and no Bluetooth options.

MIDI-2 is technically listed as MIDI-I, which can be confusing when looking for accessories.  The MIDI-2, MINI-2, and CT 15 all share the same bag, the MINI-1 and MIDI-1 have different bags from each other.  The MIDI-2 also has a handle accessory and an external cord winding accessory available.  The latter can be made to fit on a MIDI-1, but I don't believe the former can.

1: turn vac off = outlet is off
1: turn vac on manually = outlet is powered. Use tool from outlet with vac running permanent. Turn tool off, vac keeps running

2: turn vac off = outlet still powered
2(*): turn vac on manually and use tool from outlet. Vac will turn off when tool switched off...

Hose garage is changed
Manual 'filter clean' added
Blow function added
UI became harder
Oh and something with bluetooth

(*) I've been told this is a defect.

Bigger wheels, more stable design when loaded, better/flexible braided hose, blower port, filter bag clean/shake function (amazing), Bluetooth for auto extract with cordless saws or when SDS drilling a clients wall, external cord wrap for easier hose storage in the garage/hose compartment, better looking, a lid on the hose garage. .

If I had the old one and it was fine I wouldn't be upgrading in a rush, but there is no doubt that the new Mini/Midi is a significant improvement overall.

Euh, the later older Mini's and Midi's already had the sleeved hose?

The ribs in the newer hose end restrict the cross section btw, making it narrower.

Yeah I have a stack of ill fitting bags because of this confusion. I 3D printed carriages to use them, not very 'grundlich'. great vacuum though. I have the Bluetooth remote strapped to my hose and could not live with out that, too much exercise bending down.
