Granat paper does not only work well with paint.

Ha, ironic timing.

I had a 2x6 glued to a plywood sheet, which served as a bed box-spring support.
Well, re-made the kid’s beds and no longer need that ply support.  I wanted to re-use the sheet for some shop storage stuff.

So, this past Sunday I cut and knocked the 2x6 off, leaving a straggly wandering glue line, 5” wide by about 45” long.  Used the RO90 and Granat 100 to clean that off.  Came the same conclusions:  Granat didn’t load up at all with any glue and took it down very readily.  The only (very minor) negative is that I must’ve hit a glue peak or edge, which tore the very edge of the paper disc.

Good stuff!

I use the granat on old omu finish.

It is great paper. I will exclusively use it on my festools. It is a huge leap in progress for festool as far as paper is concerned.

I use it with bare wood often. It really lasts! Worth the price premium on longevity alone.
