Grub screws for guide rail connectors

Can you buy the grub screws seprately? They tend to chew after a while?

Yes, call the service department for replacements. If you're damaging the recess, you're probably over-tightening them. The reason they're slotted is to prevent over-tightening.

Do you know the cost of them?I think it would be better if they came in an allen key screw. Thanks Shane

Part #203816
Threaded pin M6 x 6 - Qty 4
Price $0.72 USD

You can order directly from the service department.

If they were allen key, you'd over tighten them and create indents in your guide rail, making them potentially inaccurate.

Imo i would prefer allen key screws.I think a could judge the right fit. Thanks again Shane.

Chances are your could find a M6 screw at your local hardware store if you're prefer a different recess. When you over-tighten it, I can give you the part numbers for new guide rails. [poke]

That's where short rails come from.
