Well I took the plunge and bought many Festool tools.
I have a Leigh D4 dovetail fixture. I bought an OF1010 router to use for dovetails.
Is the 13.8 mm guide bushing the correct one for use with the D4?

Thanks,
Andy

You would do well to read this thread thoroughly regarding baseplates and centering the guide bushing under the router collet.  It turns out that the base components from Festool are so tightly made that there's no room to move the guide bushing to compensate for off-centeredness.  The Leigh 704R guidebush adapter will let you use the P-C-type guide bushings and provides sufficient slack that you can use a centering mandrel to ensure that the guidebush is directly under the collet.  You'll need to buy a 7/16" P-C-type bushing to work with the R4.  Whiteside makes one and sells it with a mandrel that fits the bushing perfectly - http://www.woodcraft.com/product/2020151/19546/whiteside-precision-716-template-guide-bushing.aspx.  Good luck.

I followed Spark's advice in the thread he referenced, bought the 704R baseplate with the Leigh guide bushing and the Festool mandrel.  Just received it earlier this week and haven't used it yet, but it seems like a more dependably accurate setup than the adjustable Leigh base plate I initially tried, which I had less than perfect results with...
