Guide rail bag

Anyone know why the festool guide rail bag only has padding on one side ps a seperation sleeve for the two rails would of been nice aswell or is mine dodgy thanks

That's how they are , I don't see the logic with one padded side either but got mine for £25 so can live with it

I've had my bag since 2007 and it still works but it's not in the best shape anymore.  I lost both zipper pulls early on and the smaller pocket is coming apart at the seems.  The bag was a lot less expensive back when I got mine, although still very pricey.  Now I find the price approaching absurd.  I'd suggest anyone looking for a rail bag go for the DeWalt bag instead.

Thanks i got mine brand new off ebay for £35 so not to bad better than no bag i suppose

The old original bags are the best shame they changed the design. My old one is getting worn out now, I'm tempted to get it repaired

I would. Zippers are easy for a seamstress or tailor type to attach.

My MFT and CT are obviously FT. For the rest in systainers, the tool inside may be green, red or teal... (and maybe orange or yellow).
Along that logic...

I have the 'red tool' rail bag and it well made and does 2x 1600-mm, 1x 800-mm, 1x 550-mm  plus clamps, connector and miter.

ive got 2 1400 rails and a 800 rail in my bag. its 2 years old now. dunno if theyve been changed in that time like

Ahh right does it have a pocket on the front for clamps and rail connectors

No the pocket takes an 800 rail on the old bags
