Was a little tough to get *all* the dust but the 1010 did it's best.

I had to put a chamfer on four pieces of 3/4” x 10” x 10” mdf.

I found myself wishing I had a chamfer bit with a 1/2” shaft.  My router table only uses 1/2” bits.  It has a highly effective dust collection setup.

Instead I donned a mask and spent 10 minutes vacuuming off the dust from my clothes.

Oh, and eye protection was also needed.

Of course a Festool router would have resolved that issue.  But it would be a lot cheaper for me to order a new chamfer bit with a 1/2” shaft.

The static electricity that builds up with PVC is always amazing.
It can actually be enough to set-off your SawStop...........ask me how I know  [blink]

It's wild. Not pictured are my pants and boots that look nearly as snow-coated as the router.

Is the hose AS?

PVC dust is one of the reasons why I bought a pliers cutter for 16-19mm PVC pipe.

Are you sure you don't just need a collet? What brand of router is it? I don't know of many that don't have a 1/4" collet available.
