Hand-Held Planer With Thicknessing Attachment?

Does any tool manufacturer make a hand-held planer that has a thicknessing attachment?

I know Bosch used to make an attachment for their planers, but it was discontinued years ago.

I know the capacity would be very small, but I often have a need for re-sizing small stock, and something like the old Bosch system would be perfect. In the past I've looked at & longed for a proper planer/thicknesser, but in the next few weeks/months I'm going to lose my workshop so getting one now would be a bad idea.

Any ideas? My planer is an old Bosch one, and it has attachment points I could use so I've thought about trying to make something, but if another manufacturer makes one that works, I could be tempted to buy a new planer. I would post this in the 'Festool wish list', but I can't see Festool making one for their planers anytime soon!

Wow, that is cool. Must be one in the used world somewhere.

I would love something like this.
I often need to reduce down a small slip to match something existing.
I have been thinking about getting a lunch box planer but cant justify it with a proper one at home.
a small one that fits in a systainers would be really handy

I have a plan around somewhere from an old, old issue of Popular Mechanics magazine.  I wanted to be able to thickness parts on jobsites using a portable jointer.  The design is similar to the attachment that would clamp to the INCA 8" jointer, though of course made with wood parts.

You might check ebay in Europe and find one... or Amazon in one of the European countries.
