Hanging MFT for Storage

Hi all,

Anyone out there have any experience with hanging their MFT for storage while not in use?  I have a small garage and space for the MFT is sparse given my new workbench.  I was
thinking about storing the MFT hung on the wall for storage when not in use.  Pics or hardware specs appreciated.

Cheers,

Oscar

I just got 2 large rubber coated hooks and I hang the MFT folded up by hanging the legs on the hooks.

I'm new here. Been browsing and will probably stick around.

A solution a guy from another forum shared and it gets used in my trailer and would work on a wall as well.

Tornado J1000 anchors on amazon.

I used those attached to my trailer doors to hang an MFT.

It's 2 AM so no pictures, but when you fold up your MFT and you fold one leg under and one over, tighten the knobs on the leg going over the other (I skip the under)
You will then hang it vertically with the black knobs on the outer set of legs on top. You mount those anchors where they are spaced perfectly for it to just hang by the black knobs.

If that doesn't make sense I'll try and take pictures and post them over the weekend.

You might need to attach a strip of plywood to the studs to get a solid point for the brackets to go since the horizontal spacing is critical and your studs won't line up right most likely.

Sorry to sort of move beyond storage, but has anyone installed retractable casters on their MFT? It would be nice to have casters that completely retract out of the way to let the table legs sit firmly on the floor but be able to use the casters to move the MFT around as needed. I just haven't found any casters that work on legs like the MFT. I bought the Rockler casters for my workbench and they work great if I just want to move the bench out of the way for a little while and allow the bench feet to sit directly on the floor when out of the way. They won't work on the MFT (at least I haven't figured out how to use them).

The MFT is light enough to just drag out of the way.

Space was a concern so I ended up with this solution. Just a pair of parf dogs and some misc. hardware.
