Was there a thread here at the beginning of the year about an accessory for the OF 1400 to compensate for the L/R height difference when using the Guide Stop?

Gary Curtis

I found it in the 2008/2009 catalogue. It's part no. 468 608. Strangely, it isn't shown on the Festool website under accessories.

Is this the part you mean?

If it is, I thought this came standard with the router?

Darned if you're not right. There it is, that little black gauge bolted to the side of the router.

I took delivery of the OF 1400 a few weeks ago, so perhaps the Guide Stop/Guide Rail height issue applied to an earlier version of this equipment.

I just saved myself $3. Which I can readily apply to another Festool purchase.

Gary, not to burst your bubble but you need MANY, MANY $3s to purchase any Festool tool.  :) ;) ;D :o 8) Fred

Hi,

Nope, just a different way to do it that has some advantages.

I am pretty sure there are a couple other threads on this too.

How about this jewel, the Pocket StickFix, a hand sander. Only $10.50. Pocket StickFix

Hey, I use that little StickFix everyday. The cheapest Festool I have!

I have one too and love it. I'm always watching for sandpaper scraps I can cut up for it.

Awe heck,

Per,
No come back?  :o In your new role as celebrity spokes model you've got to deal with these pesky hecklers.

Also, you are giving away the merchandise. Andy Warhol autographed napkins regularly bring $1000.00 on Antiques Roadshow. I would rather look at your Elks Club Bar than a can of Cambell Soup. At least bump it up to $99.95 ;D

Sorry Mike,

I had to run out, see if a Client would sign one of those paper's

on the dotted line. They didn't.

Back to my new career,

Mike,

Commercial? As you said we are givin 'em away!
