Hi All,

i remember seeing an old post about someone who made their own mft top using the lr32 system.. if i remember correctly he starts by making reference holes beyond the area he wants as his top, then somehow uses dogs and the lr32 rail to reference all the holes he needs.. i believe at the end he rips down all 4 sides to remove some un-drilled areas and the reference holes

i know there was pictures, want to say there was even a video but i might be wrong about that

ive been looking for some time now with no luck, hoping someone knows what im talking about and can helf speed up this search for me

Thanks,
John

That would be the one!  Thank you

This seems to be the most straightforward, accurate way to make a custom sized mft top.. am i correct in that or am i missing another better idea posted elsewhere

John

I've put lots of thought into it and I've seen lots of ideas on how to do it. This one seems to be the easiest and most accurate. It's what I will be using whenever I get around to re-doing my tops.

Thank you Michael for sharing that with us.  [thumbs up]
