Obviously I made a mistake when I calibrated my ts60 to a track for my ts55 - as a cut i made afterwards with the ts60 shaved the splinter guard about 1.5-2 mm from the rail aluminum edge instead of the existing edge that was expected.
So i will proceed with repeating the procedure with a different rail, but wanted to ask if there are any things i should look out for on my 2nd attempt.
Im guessing something shifted or i just pressed too hard on the front edge and compressed the guard strip. I had the rail clamped to the 3/4 plywood (on rigid foam), so I don’t think that is thr source of the error. Cut was made at full cut depth. I used the ts60 blade change (quick stop?) during the adjustment. I believe i had teeth engaging the plywood at front and under the 0.15mm feeler gauge at the back.
Any suggestions or things to look for going forward?
