Going to be making my first set of inset cabinets for a small area. All set with building the carcass what I am struggling with is face frame width, thickness and hinges. Got the under-mount slides worked out (at least in my head). This is the look we are going for.

Very confused about how to go about it. Not sure if I can use 19mm face frame thickness with a 24 mm thick picture frame. After going to you tube university I am torn between 50mm wide face frame or 38mm. [member=4105]tjbnwi[/member] built thishttps://www.festoolownersgroup.com/...tyle-cabinet-door-hinges/msg684619/#msg684619 and I read and reread the "better methods for building cabinets" thread. Thinking 125º zero protrusion hinges but not sure about plates or if I have to build out the thickness of the face frame to match the door thickness. After looking through the Blum literature I'm not seeing how to get the 3mm gap (reveal)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advanced, Norm

Yes you can use the 3/4” face frame with 1” door/drawer faces. You just need to adjust the plate depth for the hinges and slide depth for the drawer boxes.

Unless you really need the 125º opening just use 110 hinges. Which crank and plate you need will depend on the case configuration.

Slowly getting there. Please pardon the silly questions. Never worked with hinges before. Only made open units so far.

Think these are the right parts:
71B3750 Blum CLIP Top Full Inset Screw Concealed Euro Cabinet Door Hinge with 110 Opening Angle and BLUMOTION

175H5030.21 Blum CLIP Top Inset Face Frame Adapter with 9mm Clearance

Not sure if I need anymore parts other than screws. I attached a sketch [attachimg=1]
