Sunday I got my Domino out to use on a baby crib I am building for my granddaughter. When I turned it up on edge to adjust the depth, a long rod fell out on the workbench & also a small black metal part.:o  :'( The parts where from the fence tilt lock.
Since this is my first problem with a Festool tool. How do I go about gettig it repaired?
Do I call the dealer or Festool?
Will I have to send the tool back or will they send a replacement part?
Thank you.

Chris

Sounds like the same problem I had, but I dropped mine.
The bill for the repair was about 35$ + my shipping to the repair center.

Bob,

Festool must be having phone trouble. I called 3 times. Just got a recording saying all reps a busy & to press 1 to leave a message.
I pressed 1 and got the same recording only this time when I press 1 I get disconnected.

Basically they told me to fill out this form available here, Repair form, I did that, sent it in the systainer and packaged in a box. I took out everything, including the cutter. So unless you need something you might not need to talk to any one. Or if its warranty work, then you need authorization.
