Looking to buy a new drill but can't decide betheen the "D" or "T" 15. Which is better and more convenient in use? Thoughts and experience appreciated.

There really is no right or wrong answer here. It all comes down to personal preference. Best option is to try them out in the store and then decide which one suits you most.

I have a T model and I like it. Could I get used to a C model? Probably.

As mentioned before, try them if you can. I did and bought the C15.  The reason I personally prefer the "C" models is that you can grip them higher up with your hand more in line with the axis you are drilling or driving on. This tends to give better control and a straighter approach but only IMHO. Someone who is a heavy user of an existing T model i.e. any other drill on the market, may not find this such a big deal but if you're a relative amateur, I do think the C is superior ergonomically.

I was a huge c-drill fan, I love the way they feel and hand position. That was until I tried the new T-drills. Festool put a lot of thought into the grip of the t's. It's so much more comfortable than some of the other t-handle drills I've tried. I have a few Festool drills but the 2 that go everywhere with me are the t-18 and the cxs. I feel they complement each other nicely and I can handle just about any task. The t-18 has been really impressing me, just on wednsday I had to drill a few 4" holes in some 3/4 stock and the t-18 had no problem spinning the bit.
