Anyone have any experience with the smaller 12 volt drills, drivers and impacts in the Hilti line? They look like capable tools in a small footprint and I like the different options. Debating adding a set to my arsenal or going for a CXS/TXS to complement my other drills. I have a C12 and T15 already. Thanks

Thanks. That was a good article and nice to see some comparisons with everything out there.

Good find and interesting results.  Too bad the festool finished in the middle of the pack vs being one of the big money items.

That doesn't bother me at all, they reviewer made it clear the Festool was the best of the group at what it is designed for.  I have a CSX and the Bosch PS42 (brushless) that came in second in the test and while there is a lot of overlap they each have their strong suits.  Some lament the fact the TSX/CSX aren't brushless and/or have very little torque compared to say the Milwaukee 12v drill/drivers but I think it has plenty for what I use it for, the baby Milwaukees are long on hammer and short on velvet glove.

I got the bag of three of them when they were on special for 249 at the hilti store. They are tiny and very light, which is useful in a lot of situations. Power is very good for the size I find, but even though they are the same voltage, my old c12 seems more powerful. (Can't seem to kill that thing.)

Trigger is nicely responsive, and I didn't notice any appreciable runout in the chucks.

The driver and the impact have quick change 1/4" chucks which work well. Never used the hammer function yet on the third drill, which has a Jacobs chuck, but I can only imagine it is light duty.

All told I would say they are a good value.
