(If there is a thread about this already please point me in the right direction)
Having some time ago been bitten by the Festool bug, I'm in the process of replacing my old (and sometimes antique) power tools with black and green. That almost sounded like Black and Decker, I hope nobody misread and had a heart attack ;D
I usually hang on to a specific tool a long time before I replace it, partly because I'm a real Scrooge and partly because I don't mind owning older stuff as long as it keeps ticking. Hower one thing I realy dislike is buying a new tool only to see an improved model being sold the year after. My older model doesn't get worse because the new one is out, but I still don't like it. I'm sure some of you know what I'm talking about. Since I'll be replacing stuff over a few years time, I was wondering how long the various Festool models have been around. That way I could buy the newer models sooner, and see if some of the older models get a an improvement in the near future. My guess so far goes like this:
Carvex PS 400 2010
Rotex RO 90 2010
CXS 2010
Workstation 2010
CTL 26/36 2009
RTS/DTS 400 2008
MFT/3 2008
OF 2200 2008
Kapex 2007
ETS 150 2007
CMS 2007
Domino 2006
CS 70 2002
CS 50
Trion PS 300
TS 55
TS 75
C12/15
T12/15
Rotex RO 125
Rotex RO 150
OF 1010
OF 1400
Planex
Help me correct/fill in the blanks and I'll update this post.
I already own some of the above, and I have no plans on buying all of it (unless I win the lottery), but I'm still curious. I also know that some of it is NAINA and that which is AINA is often released later, so lets stick to the European release times.
EDIT: I'm new to this forum so I don't know how to get the tabs thing to work - any way to get all the years listed in the same column?
