HVLP Turbine/Professional Use in Colorado

I had a accuspray conversion gun. It was very good. I gave it away to a friend, 3 m bought accuspray and discontinued the gun and I can't get parts anymore.

I have heard that the the Accuspray 10G series guns (turbine) are very good and they are PPS ready.

I seen them. However I use LVLPs very low CFM with my emglo 2 hp 4 gal compressor. I ran all the time but never had a issue lagging .

I'm pretty much got my mind set on a optima conversion guns. Made in Germany well engineered and LVLP

Hi.  I would love to go the 2 or so HP compressor route with the whole set up, and could do this in my workshop at home, but I have to have equipment that I can physically handle without any help.  My max to lift is about 35 pounds or so.  This is yet another issue that has led to my decision. 

Based on incredible input from this specific post/thread, I learned that I can use a turbine system (and should get the highest psi version I can), and it can be hooked up to a smaller compressor and pressure pot for when I am on a job site.  I can lift the individual components. 

I am grateful for all of the fantastic input, and for the patience many of you have had during my learning curve on the compressor/pot set up.  I have only used airless and solo turbine for my work to date.

Hi.  Thanks much for this suggestion.  I do have a great cart, but I am 105 pounds and still need to lift things in and out of my truck, up stairs at homes, etc.  [sad]

What is a LVLP or rather how is it different than a compressor (not turbine) driven HVLP.

Seems like all the low CFM guns like the C.A.Technologies Lynx 100H or the Asturo have the same specs as LVLP rated guns.

I have 2 Asturo guns...the green ones, cant remember the model but they use very little air and have very little over spray.
I almost bought a Kremlin pump but couldn't justifie the expense as My Asturo hooked to a 2.5 gal pressure pot works just fine.

I have seen a few comments specific to guns.  What guns do you like the absolute best (must work with hvlp turbine system) for high-end cabinet finishing....if you could have just one gun for water-based, light-medium products, and one gun for solvent-based products, what would you choose?  Again, just related to hvlp turbine systems.

I have three Fuji guns, two XPC (Gravity and shiphon) and T70 siphon gun. I prefer the T70.
I think the redesigned air cap and set create a better pattern, atomize slightly better and make it easier to change fan orientation than the XPC.
I am happy that Fuji has started to mark (etch) the T70 air caps with actual sizes vs. the numbering system they used previously.
I don't spray solvent-based products so I can't give you any feedback on those.
C.A. Technologies makes a HVLP gun designed for Turbines and I wouldn't mind trying one as I like their H2O guns. As I have stated before the Accuspray 10G turbine guns are highly recommended by other pros, but I have not used one so I can't really say what my experience is with them.
