I introduced my employees to the Domino today

My employees are making some doors for a motorhome out of Oak. They needed to join the mitered corners of the door. I asked them what they would do to make it strong. They didn't really have anything to say. When they saw the Domino in action, their wheels were spinning. They wanted to know how you could use it to make home speakers and a few other things. Needless to say, they were very impressed.

I know the feeling.  I just switched my sole employee/ little brother from pocket holes using The "kreg" jig to the domino system.  Poor kid, it took two years to train him the first time now this.  I hope he comes back to work tomorrow.

I assembled some Windsor One casing using pocket-hole joinery, glue and clam clamps to hold the joint tight until the glue dried.  Was a very quick and easy method & the joints remain tight / closed after 2 years, and various seasons.

I did just get a domino, have not yet used it - but am anxious to put it to use!
