I had seen that, but the drilling part is cut out each time. All you see is the tool being pulled out.
Makes me think the action may not be as smooth or easy as the real thing.

The holes look pretty clean. Either way you’ve got to admire the ingenuity even if it’s a copy of Domino concept. Ergonomically pendulum cutter action is much easier than parallel lateral movement.

Thanks Chris - it would be just like the radio that Dad let me build. I used a couple of offcuts of 4x2, a piece of 2x1 and four 2 inch nails - I was only just 5 at the time (and my woodwork has not improved much since then). It must have been the world's first digital radio as I can remeber hitting every one of my fingers with the hammer.

Awesome! Imagine if that jig was made of aluminum (compact). Then with your trim router you could get functionality similar to Domino and not be stuck with proprietary cutters and preset depth/width.
