images and gallery

I was thinking (yes I know, a dangerous thing) about how cool it would be to have images posted in forum be linked to a users gallery.

Just a thought  [embarassed]

I meant it as not for posting but as a 'repository'.

like if I post an image into a thread it would "store" it in the gallery.

It works the other way around -- upload your photos into your gallery first and then when you post you can include any of the photos in your gallery.

I understand how it works. I was thinking more along the lines of 'auto populating' from a post

    Just a note ....................  the Gallery feature is no longer functional. It was old tech, saw little use, didn't work very well, and became a casualty of the upgrade.

No, there are way too many free alternatives like Flickr, Google Picasa, Instagram, etc.
