Is there a more economical, similar marking tool than the T-Marking Vernier Caliper (http://tinyurl.com/y5shq9fy) that the woodworker is seen using to mark the joints in the video?

just use a standard woodworking marking gauge or Veritas type with the cutting wheel on the end of the bar.

Hi Chuck, a regular marking gauge and reliable square should suffice. Also the Incra precision T rules are very good, also a bit pricey though. I bought a set last year, and I now wonder how I managed without them.
