Is there a way to save links or even just a list of names of my favorite treads?

Is there a way to save links or even just a list of names of my favorite treads?

When I log on I mostly check both  "UNREAD POSTS since last visit / NEW REPLIES to your posts". Too often I read something that I know I want go back too and think I will remember the name. Then a few weeks later... I remember the post and now need to use some information in it.  Now if I posted to that thread...I can look up my past posts and find it.  If I didn't post.... as good as the search engine has gotten.  I still need to remember the key words to make this work... and yea memory is good but short.

Now I could just save the link to my favorites....but if I'm viewing via my phone I won't have access to the links on my computer.

Is there a way to tag/list these in my profile window?

Cheers,
Steve

You could subscribe to the threads by clicking on the Notify button.  Then when you go to your Profile > Notifications and Email, they will all be there and you will also be notified of any new posts in those threads.

Or you could just create a bookmarks folder in your web browser and just save them all there.

Either I didn't make my self clear or you didn't read the issue.  If no one has posted on the thread for a year.... but it has references to a tool product or technique I want to find now...  the notifications thing doesn't work.

as I stated in my orginal question... I can book mark them....but in today's world I'm not always at the same computer...so book marks are not aways helpful.

I'm looking for a solution that allows me to log in to the site from any computer/phone/pad.....and find the link I need.

This feature might be beyond the scope of the current software.

Would one of those services that let you use your desktop/ computer from any other computer work?

Well that would mean that I leave my computer on and connected all the time.  Also If I understand how those programs work.... I would need to find computer with the same software or carry my own....that defeats the whole thing.

Just a note area in this program would work.... copy the Thread name and past it in to a note area.... then you could search for it.

I currently do have a program that copies favorite links...to all of my computers...but... not my phone...and I'm really not wanting to take my computer to work every day.

What I was suggesting was to click the Notify button in the topics that you want to "bookmark" and then it will place them all under Profile > Notifications and Email.  It doesn't matter if nobody has posted in over a year, it will just show every thread that you want to be notified on...thus creating a list of bookmarks really with links to each thread and who it was started by.  I have a bunch saved in mine in case I ever need to find them quickly.

There are some online bookmark services out there that you might want to check out.  If you have a Google account, they have one.
