Having purchased a new Carvex, I'm interested to see that the tool label no longer includes a date of manufacture on it. All my other Festool tools included the (I assume) date of manufacture on the tool label. Interestingly enough, in the past, I've sometimes ended up with 'new' tools which were, according to the label, manufactured two years before they were sold! Has the date of manufacture been removed from all other Festool tools?
I quite liked the date being on the tools as it meant I was able to see if an upgrade was applicable to a tool I was thinking of buying. Is there anyway now to tell the manufacturing date?
