For my kitchen project I had to install a lot of of pulls.
I experimented with a couple of home made jig, a jig from Rockler but ended up falling in love with the woodhaven one.

The construction is very sturdy. The jig can be purchase with both a metric and imperial plate. You can easily setup the location of the pull/knob within the door or drawer face. For very wide drawer, the jig comes with an extra longer track. If this is not enough you can always replace it with a standard t-track.
The only negative is that the jig needs to be reconfigured for doors depending on wether you put the pull on the right or left side.

Like you Emmanuel we have tried many, many door/drawer jigs.  The biggest problem we find with any jig is they all have too much slop for drawer pulls.  We have the Euro Jig (http://www.mcfeelys.com/product/EU-3211/Euro-Handle-Drilling-Jig) and We settled on just getting several of these (http://www.trimgauge.com/) and we can very quickly and accurately measure most of them out.  We met this guy at the Remodel show in Vegas.  They are very handy for a lot of things.  They are not perfect but work well.

Here's a decent self centering drawer jig (we have this one too) -http://www.woodworker.com/cgi-bin/FULLPRES.exe?PARTNUM=892-834&LARGEVIEW=ON
