Jig Saw Light Issue

I am having intermitten issues with the light on my Festool Carvex jigsaw.  I go through the steps of activating the light, scrolling through the options and setting it.  Sometimes when I turn it on the light comes on and sometimes it doesnt.  I have to back in a repeat the process, its like it forgets.  ANyone else have this happening?

Mine also only works some of the times.
I’m happy when it does and it’s ok when it’s on holiday.
I don’t go through the steps to reset it.

Yes, that is intentional. It is made that way, so it doesn't shine in your eyes, when used upsidedown.

Yeah I know, it could explain the intermittent issue. First thing I did when I got mine was turn off the strobe and set it for normal on/off instead.
