I just finished up a small little job for a customer. Its nothing special, just a breakfast nook made from appleply and it will be painted. I made this thing with a TS55, MFT, and OF1400 in the customer's garage. Instead of making a typical frame with stiles and rails, we just used one full sheet of ply and cut out the opening for the panels. This is the first time I've used this technique with my TS55 and it worked great.

Loren, it was roughly about 50 degrees in the customer's garage. We did all the gluing in place where it was in the low 60s.

Bob, yes they are registers. The one that is all the way down to the floor is a toespace heater. The other is actually an AC vent. Its awful low for AC, but I didn't build the house. Just the kitchen cabinets and the nook.

Well, let's see if this helps you, if not just say so... Its made out of 3/4 appleply. 4 sheets. What I did was make the sides first. They are about 19-1/2" wide and about 36" high overall with the seat about 16-1/2" high. The incline on the back is about 4 degrees. The cutout for the panel  is 9" high and 13-1/2" wide. Looks like this:

I just laid out the piece and made all of the cuts. For any stopped cuts, I used the stops for the TS55 and finished them with a jig saw. Once the piece was all cut, then I laid out the panel in the center and used the TS55, the stops and the rails, to make plunge cuts and cut out the opening for the panel. Once the panel opening was cut, I put a 3/8" rabbeting bit in my OF1400 and routed out the back of the opening. Then I cut a another piece that fit inside the rabbetted opening in the back. Glued it and nailed it in from the back. Your panel ends up being 3/4" larger than the openings.

The rest of the openings are done exactly the same way. Now the seat has a piece of 3" wide ply that is fastened to bottom of the back rest. The seat is actually a lid and I used piano hinge to mount the lid to the 3" wide piece of ply. The seat doesn't go all the way into the corner of the unit though. I made a solid piece that fits into the corner. This gave the unit structural strength and locked everything in. Then I just braced it all up from inside wherever it needed it.
