Hello!

I’ve been lurking for sometime and have gained a good bit a knowledge and borrowed more than a few good ideas from the members here.  That said, I felt it was time for me to try and contribute back to the group.

For this of you that cross over into the 3D printing world, I have designed a ZC insert for the Kapex 120 that prints in two pieces to fit most home printers.  I’ve uploaded the files to Thingiverse at:  https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3849492

Hope this can be of use to someone!

Thanks!
Mike

NVM I saw on thingiverse that you used PLA :)

Have you use any slicer and if yes how long it take to get printed?

[welcome] to the FOG. [smile]

Nice job...I just rotated the photos for easier viewing.

Thanks for posting and sharing this! Just printed one with ABS and it’s doing great. Very minimal cleanup needed whatsoever

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.  Yes, I used PLA and it's been holding up well.  I used Cura as the slicer and I think both sections took about 5 hours to print.

I'm glad it worked out for you!  Do you mind sharing the brand ABS and color you are using?  I think your green is a much better match to the Festool green than mine.

Thanks!
Mike

I know that this is an older post, but this file is no longer available on Thingaverse. Does anyone have this file to share?

Thank you!

I think it was these, but I am not sure. Where I am now I can't open STL files to check it for you. But the filename seem to say so.
