Kapex calibration

Today I  completed my Kapex calibration and wanted to share the results with you. The pieces were not even glued together, just clamped on the MFT. This miter saw really is a masterpiece. Seeing the results of one hour of calibration really made my day.

Hey Richard,
I posted earlier that when I measured the mitre cuts I made with the Kapex, they were only 5 minutes (1/12 degree) of a degree off. Great for trimming out large windows & doors.

Also did Festool get back to you about the 1mm blade offset problem you were having?

I had a phone call with Mr. Diez, product manager of the Kapex, he apologized for responding so late and wanted some additional info. He will come back to me next week and I  will post his response in the other thread.
